Hi everyone,

I've come across this article by the World Economic Forum, which explains how fossil fuels have been hard hit by the pandemic at the same time as there have been substantial increases in renewable power across the world, to record levels in some countries. This article articulates some of the reasons for that increase and gives some insights into the effects of lockdowns on energy demand. There are no specific behavioural insights here, but I think it's valuable to understand how the context in which energy behaviours are occurring has changed dramatically since the pandemic began. You can read the article here.
