Dear Friends,
I am researching whether or not the current global strategy for achieving the Millennium Development Goals is a viable strategy or not. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done similar research and/or who knows of any sites where the current strategies (at both national and global levels) are being examined with an eye towards whether they are effective or not. I am not looking for "anti-MDG" sites, but I am looking into the issue of effectiveness.
Thanks in advance for the assistance!
Steve

Steve,
The Science and Development Network (http://www.scidev.net/) presents many articles on both sides of the MDG story. Here are a few:
Simple information for reaching the MDGs
How 'scientific' are the Millennium Development Goals?
MDGs must not be political playthings for world leaders
Millennium Development Goals 'not doomed to fail'
Simpler words are needed to get MDG message across
Protecting biodiversity 'may clash with pursuit of MDGs'
