hello everyone,
At the moment I'm developing research on environmental communications at the Australian School of Environmental Studies, in Brisbane. I'm seeking cases of organizations/institutions which made use of Community-based Social Marketing aimed at environmental behaviour change. I strongly beleive that analysing the development and outcomes of a local experience will enrich my study on communications effective on promoting environmental behaviour change. I'd really appreciate suggestions regarding cases as well as recomendation of readings on the issue. Thank you for the assistance.
All the best,

Hi Tiago,
We might be of help as guineau pigs to you. When we started as a community/local govt partnership to tackle sustainability issues in the home environment in Noosa, we used a scattergun approach and deliberately tried a lot of strategies aimed at different target audiences within our community. Some worked, some didn't and we are now in Year 3 and have narrowed our focus very much to four activities that received the most support from the community. We are only now refining those with a cbsm approach (back-to-front, I know). Anyway, if we can help please feel free to email. (apologies if I haven't used the right protocol - first timer to listserv..great resource by the way)
