Hello,
I am currently working as a researcher for Guy Dauncey, a BC climate change expert, activist and award winning author. I am wondering if anyone has any information on European Cities with progressive Climate Change Action Plans and if the initiatives implemented have been successful in changing behaviors. I am looking for data that includes both qualitative and quantitative analysis. I am familiar with London's recent Climate Change Action Plan. I would also be interested any North American cities who are putting action plans into place and if they have been successful in changing behavior. This information will be included in the "Solutions for Cities" section of the book. Thanks for any suggestions/ideas.

If you haven't already, check out ICLEI websites as an international organisation that has been working on this for many years. Their website is http://www.iclei.org/ In addition you should check out the ICLEI A-NZ at http://www.iclei.org/index.php?id=1149 Have a look at program summary for starting points. Australia has been very successful in having cities and communities sign on to Climate Change programs. There are reports available on the quantities of greenhouse gases that have been reduced through the Climate Change program. You could probably get these from the ICLEI offices.
