Hi -
I've been trying to find recent peer-reviewed articles (within the last ten years, ideally) that have focused on effective public environmental education campaigns, in particular with regard to changing behavior in individuals/households toward energy/water conservation. Do you know of any you could point me to? Campaigns can be driven by NGOs, governments, municipalities, grass-roots/communities or whatever. Of course campaigns utilizing CBSM would be great to review as well, ideally I'd have a mix to look at. I've looked at the great resources Doug provides on the web site, but most if it is rather old now. I've also explored electronic journals dedicated to Environmental and Social Psychology topics--perhaps I just haven't hit upon the right keywords for my search--but I've been at this for six weeks now. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Many thanks,

Ellen take a look at Institute for Public Policy Research in the UK (www.ippr.org/aboutippr/) and their "Warm Words 2" about climate change communication in the UK.

Hi Ellen,
You may want to have a look at the Climate Masters Program through U of O. The official results and report are pending. It is something to keep an eye on for now. http://climlead.uoregon.edu/programs/neighborhood.html If/when you find any articles I would love to have a peek as well.
Cheers,
