Drainage Services, City of Edmonton has just launched an elementary school program focused on behavioral change around the actions that may have a negative effect on wastewater and storm water systems. These integrated programs link to the Grade 4 and Grade 5 programs of studies for science, chemistry, language arts, and social studies as appropriate for the content and grade level. The programs launched in October/November 2007 and I am starting to think about short, medium, and longer term assessment and evaluation techniques to consider for assessing the effectiveness of the program. I am wondering if someone could direct me to particular evaluation and assessment models for behavioral change and/or research/readings on the subject. I have done some searching on the net but if anyone knows of something that is particularly effective, please let me know.

Thank you.
