Hello Everyone,
Does anyone, anywhere, have information on FSB in the management of small waterways in outer suburban areas of large cities please? We are volunteers managing waterways with remnant bushland on public and private land over many government jurisdictions. How do we get others to recognise the value of these natural assets so they actively protect them?
Thanks in anticipation,

Vicki,
One or both of these guides may be helpful. Good luck! "Getting in Step: A Guide for Conducting Watershed Outreach Campaigns" (EPA 2003) is designed to walk watershed groups, municipalities, etc., through a comprehensive six-step outreach process of developing and implementing a watershed outreach campaign. http://www.epa.gov/owow/watershed/outreach/documents/getnstep.pdf "Getting Your Feet Wet with Social Marketing: Steps for Promoting Behavior Change in Water Programs" (Utah Department of Agriculture 2006) http://ag.utah.gov/conservation/GettingYourFeetWet1.pdf

I have compiled a big BIG collection of research into public attitudes and behaviors around water resources. It's keyword searchable and it's at: http://del.icio.us/waterwordsthatwork However, all the stuff is U.S. Based so your mileage may vary.
