New Wisconsin nonprofit seeks effective manager with a passion for sustainability and the knack for recognizing and achieving the win-win in any collaborative situation. Our aim is to inspire voluntary actions that reduce GHG emissions and this manager will lead our first round of pilot projects to unprecedented success.

Key responsibilities of this position include leading the evolution and deployment of several community-based initiatives (including management of all day-to-day operations) and assistance with developing additional pilot programs going forward. These initiatives will be located in various Wisconsin communities so position involves considerable in-state travel.

Candidate requirements are as follows:
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.

Required Skills & Experience
1. Three (3) years experience in the management of multi-stakeholder partnership programs, including prior experience with facilitating diverse stakeholder groups, program planning,developing and managing budgets, and managing communications strategies
2. Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
3. Superior time management, project management, and organizational skills
4. Excellent written/ verbal communication skills
5. Outstanding listening skills
6. Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
7. MS Office software proficiency

Desirable Skills and Experience
1. Familiarity with behavior change literature
2. Excellent public speaking skills
3. Experience promoting energy efficiency or sustainability practices
4. Experience working in community-based initiatives
5. Demonstrated analytical skills, specifically regarding technical data
6. Familiarity with relational database and general data tracking system concepts
7. Expertise in specific efficiency or sustainability fields (transportation, electric and/or gas efficiency, etc.)
