I have started to work at a rural council in Canada and they have not previously had any formal environmental policies or procedures. In order to engage the community from the begining I want to assess and quantify the perceptions of the community in regards to environmental protection. Has anyone done this work before or could provide me with some advice?
The other hurdle is that it is such a broad topic, and I am not wanting to narrow it since I want to find out the priorities of the communtiy - so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
