Looking for ideas and ways to engage people in the above mentioned concept. Also searching for ways to integrate and teach the concept to college level (Canadian)marketing groups. One recent example of the concept that poped up for me is the following initiative.

You may want to contact Jennifer Lynes ([email protected]) at the University of Waterloo. She focuses her research on marketing for the greater social good amongst other things. Just finished her course for a Masters of Environment and Business and was impressed with the content.

It seems to underline the fact that no matter what form of consumerism/social responsibility we attempt to undertake it still is up to each of us as individuals to be ad educated as possible about the track record of the companies we choose to endorse/purchase from.
