"The Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change (TTM) is a useful and practical tool for guiding people through changing their behavior. It consists of four components: processes of change, stages of change, self-efficacy, and decisional balance. This webinar will provide brief background about the model, with a focus on the stages of change and decisional balance. Dr. Nageotte will share how the TTM can be used with front end, formative, and summative evaluations for influencing and measuring conservation behavior outcomes in conservation education programs.
Presenter: Nichole Nageotte, PhD is the Conservation Education Researcher at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Over the past 12 years, she has held various jobs in both animal care and environmental education. She has a passion for cultivating interest in science and connections to wildlife and conservation. She received her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University where she focused her studies on informal science and environmental education."
