Hi everyone, I’m super excited to be implementing a composting initiative at my local elementary school. I’m using techniques from Doug’s book, but I wanted to know everyone’s initial thoughts on best practices for the following areas. - promoting social norms, and social diffusion. - Creating effective messages/communication- incentives I have a few ideas, but would love to hear what has worked for others. I can offer you two journal articles that may be useful. The first one is a 2015 Open Access article about CBSM and social norms. You will find that article attached. The second one is a well-known and often-cited 2014 article by Wes Schultz about the contexts in which it is best to use certain CBSM tools, such as incentives and education.
