I am working with a video producer/director and non-profit organization to produce a video on naturescaping (use of native plants, water-friendly gardening practices and natural landscaping techniques to benefit wildlife and people). Our objective is to encourage residents to adopt environmentally sound gardening practices. We anticipate the main portion will serve to inspire people with the beauty and benefits of naturescaping. This will be augmented with short "chapters" giving targeted information on gardening for wildlife -- landscape structure, plant choices, natural gardening practices. Based on years of giving naturescaping workshops, I have a fairly good idea of barriers to adopting naturescaping practices. We will incorporate messages to address these perceived barriers. Does anyone have experience/advice regarding format and presentation style that could be adapted to this project?
