Hi everyone,

I'd very much appreciate your help collecting examples of how government agencies have used social research programs to support CBSM-style projects. The examples and contacts collected will help me when I start a job founding a social research program in the Victorian Environmental Protection Agency (Australia) in late April. It would be great to get in contact with people who are doing the same kind of work (whether in Aus or over seas). Note that while specific project-based research of the kind we frequently see on this list is interesting, I'm most interested in how people have approached supporting, evaluating and extending behavior change initiatives agency wide - for instance providing barriers and benefits research for a variety of target behaviors addressed by the agency and so on. There will also be element of championing community engagement and social research-informed program design and delivery in a historically science and engineering dominated organisation, so any reflections or comments on that aspect would be helpful also.

Great! look forward to seeing your replies,
Stefan Kaufman PhD
