Hello,
I'm completing a Masters of Environment in The University of Melbourne and am currently researching for an essay on the topic "Communicating and educating sustainability". I was wondering if anyone could give me good tips on reports, articles, webresources, books, that could be focusing on the marketing and educational (adults) aspect of sustainability, especially concerning consumption in western societies, from a policy view. Any help would be most welcome!
Kind regards

Hello Miguel,
Not to toot one's own horn, but my outfit has a free sustainability knowledge base which is used by government officials and their staff: http://www.sustainlane.us/ Currently we are focused on US and Canadian policy and programs but that may expand in the future. For non-policy offerings, see www.sustainlane.com (TV cartoon and 'green reviews' for older audiences). Many municipal governments have their own sites as well: http://www.city.vancouver.bc.ca/sustainability/ http://sustainableoakland.com/Page774.aspx http://www.cabq.gov/sustainability/
Cheers!

Seems this is a very GREEN version of sustainability...is it just me, or isn't sustainability supposed to be about the intersection of 3 E's? Or even more likely,a part of a series of 3 co-centric and nested circles representing the interdependence of the 3 e's If Sustainability is just about environment, then it really represents very little that is new....it seems we are losing traction on this rather fundamental point......
