I would be interested in hearing from those who've used (or seen it used) the subject device as a teaching tool. How was it used it and how would you rate the effectiveness of the delivery and what would you change.

The first thing I do in my Saving $$ to Save the Earth (energy reduction) class is send participants home with Kill-a-watts. The electrical usage follow up a week later is easy, they know where the problems are. I find Therms and Kw easier to deal with than (personal) transportation, would love to learn successful behavioral change techniques on that topic.
