I am going to answer your question backwards by recommending a really nice bike locker and saying that "Whatever they make it out of is what you should use" -- and that's the BikeLid system. The blurb on the home page (bikelid.com) says
I don't have any connection to the company other than seeing their product at a bike show once and thinking "What a great bike locker!"
