Hi all,
I am conducting a research on household environmental behaviors in Karachi, Pakistan. Unfortunately, education about how humans are causing environmental change is limited in Karachi. As a result I am having great difficulty in doing my research. I am looking for information on how household behaviors cause environmental change, and what steps can be taken to change those behaviors. If you kind people can help me find information on how much environmental change is caused by our everyday household behaviors, I would be thankful. I am particularly interested in energy consumption, water use, and waste provention.

One place you might look for current thoughts about behavior change concerning energy is the Behavior, Energy and Climate Change conference. Most presentations given at the 2007 and 2008 conferences are posted online. Go to www.aceee.org/conf/09becc/09beccindex.htm and look for links to the 2007 and 2008 conference web sites.
