Does this exist? I suppose every type of CRM aims to move a certain group of people to a certain type of behavior, but it seems like none of them are for social marketers to use... Here's my assessment so far:

Every "contact relationship management" tool out there seems to have business development as the primary goal (engaging/tracking potential customers and moving them towards becoming customers). Many tools out there serve as glorified Rolodexes, and ones with more sophistication let you track deals, etc.

Then there are the "constituent relationship management" tools that are geared towards NPOs, and have fundraising as the primary goal. They help organizations engage/track members and try to get them to become donors and repeat donors. Some tools are more for advocacy, and these aim to get constituents' messages across to their government representatives.

Finally, there are the newfangled "social CRM's" which on the surface sound like what we're looking for, but really these are just the same as any other CRM, except they interface with potential customers/constituents directly using Social Media, rather than just the traditional channels. While social media is becoming an important part of CBSM, it is still just one tool.

Wouldn't it be great to have a CRM that focuses on behavior change, allowing us to track people, stakeholders, influencers, etc. and move targeted audiences towards behavior change goals within our campaigns by establishing steps (and tiered levels of actions), and tracking by scoring interaction/interest? Social media should feed into this, but it would not be the full story. The goal would be to engage/track with the purpose of fostering a user-defined movement aimed at positive sustainability (rather than new business or fundraising).

Do you know of anything like this?
