Hi all, There are a couple of high-quality behavior change conferences coming up that I’d like to share with you. The first is “Behaviour Change Conference 2025: Health & Sustainability”, hosted by University College London (UCL) in the UK. The conference takes place in Lisbon, Portugal but all in-person seats are sold out so you can participate online. The conference dates are April 2 and 3, 2025. Two of the main conference tracks are health and climate change/sustainability. Here are some highlights from the climate change/sustainability track: - Is that the way the cookie crumbles? Variation in household food waste by socio-demographics and food-management behaviors - Recycling among university students in Portugal: A mixed-methods study with the COM-B model - Do-gooders, culinarians, and traditionalists: The development of target-group specific interventions to reduce meat consumption - Switching to renewables: Mapping the barriers and enablers for the corporate energy transition - Encouraging electric vehicle adoption by identifying the barriers of the prospective audience segments - Car journeys reduced using a GPS tracking app, incentives and messaging employing behaviour change techniques To view more details and/or to register, click here. The second behavior change conference is the World Social Marketing conference that takes place in Alicante, Spain from November 5 to 7, 2025. The theme for this year is “Catalysts for change: Uniting global efforts to shape a better future”.
