Has anyone heard of cutting into asphalt or concrete to build a composting facility of any kind? Or composting on asphalt/concrete?

    I appreciate your response. We are looking to build a 50 x 50 compost education facility. We are worried about leachate and or contamination of the compost. I am curious to know what a system of this scale would look like, and is there a company that would test the constituents? I appreciate the communication.

I don't have a specific answer to your question, but I do want to share that the US Composting Council will be hosting its 5 day training here in Michigan for compost operators at the end of October.  They would most certainly have some insight.  https://www.compostfoundation.org/education/COTC
