Hi all,

I just lectured about biodiversity loss at the University of Waterloo, and have recently come across a fabulous behaviour change toolkit for practitioners working in the field of conservation. It was published by Rare and the Behavioural Insights Team. The toolkit features strategies for applying behavioral science to conservation, which fit under three broad categories: motivate the change (e.g. leverage positive emotions), socialize the change (e.g. promote the desirable norm), and ease the change (e.g. simplify messages and decisions). The toolkit also applies these concepts to real world conservation cases, such as addressing the illegal consumption of tiger products. The toolkit is attached, in case you're interested. Cheers!
